| INFOMATION
In Pokemon , you are one of two boys chosen by Professor Oak to collect and categorize all the Pokemon in the world, 150 in all. You are given one of three monsters to begin with. The Pokemon are a plant monster, a fire monster, and a water monster. One of the boys is Professor Oak's grandson, You are in constant bickering with him a lot of the time. In the journey to collect all 150 monsters, you must buy POKE Balls. These are used to catch the monsters. Five diffent ball exist, each having more power than each in cathching Pokemon .If you catch a monster while having your limit of six monsters they are automatically transported to the Someone's/Bill's PC, available in every Poke Center. Another interesting thing along the way are eight gyms with Pokemon trainers like you that you can challenge. When you beat all eight of these gym masters, you can join the Pokemon League, a league of the best Pokemon trainers ever. |
VERSIONS
So far, I have seen 2 versions of Pokemon. It has been the Red version and the Blue version. I have heard from Friends that there are the Green and Gold in Japan. The versions have basically the same story but small things are different as in the Rareness of some creatures and the where the objects are placed.Say.... In the Red version you are able to fight sandshoe, but you can't catch him but in the blue version you can do both and Vice versae. This is so that kids can play with their friends and trade to get all 150 Pokemons in such we get "Gotta Catch 'em all" A known problem I have found is that you can't link up the original gameboy with the Pocket ones which Kinda sucks.
